"Agility and the Team Software ProcessSM",
Karen Smiley Abstract:
This presentation will provide a brief overview of PSP/TSP and agile
and explore the extent to which they are compatible and can be
blended to advantage.
Similarities and differences between PSP/TSP and
key agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Crystal) will be highlighted.
The philosophies, roles, data gathering, estimation and planning,
measurement, and key "programmer practices" of eXtreme Programming
(e.g. Pair Programming, Test-Driven Development) will be compared
and contrasted with PSP/TSP.
"Overview of CMMI® and SPI Lessons From ABB",
Aldo Dagnino Abstract:
ABB has successfully migrated from the
Software CMM (SW-CMM®) to the
Integrated CMM (CMMI®)
across a variety of business and development groups.
They have established a common process framework
and a global Engineering Process Group to enable this evolution.
At the end of the presentation, you will have gained a good feel for the CMMI,
what the CMMI is, and what it implies to
software process improvement (SPI) in your organization.
